Attractive Sầm Sơn Beach

Sầm Sơn Beach is shaped like a crescent moon, stretching from the foot of Trường Lệ Mountain to Quảng Cư Commune, and is divided into four bathing areas: A, B, C, and D. The coastline is wide and flat, with fine sand and no deep waters, mud flats, or underwater rocks. Sầm Sơn boasts a variety of precious seafood, such as shrimp, mackerel, squid, and blood cockles. The area is known for its majestic natural beauty, vast seas, and numerous landmarks and legends that attract tourists.

Visitors Enjoying Summer at Sầm Sơn Beach

Summer is the peak travel season for Sầm Sơn. From May to August each year, the beach welcomes millions of visitors for sightseeing and relaxation. The busiest period occurs during the annual April 30th-May 1st holiday. In the autumn, the weather is cooler, making it an ideal time for relaxation. The advantage during this season is that the beaches are spacious, and the service prices are more reasonable.

When visiting Sầm Sơn, tourists can not only enjoy swimming in the sea but also experience many other delightful activities. You can stroll along Hồ Xuân Hương Street to reach the Quảng Cư Ecological Area or visit the lively Cột Đỏ market on charming pedicabs, driven by friendly and open locals who are happy to share fascinating stories about the famous landmarks of Sầm Sơn. For a livelier experience, visitors can rent tandem or three-person bikes to wander through the streets, savor local specialties, and discover the tranquil yet vibrant beauty of Thanh Hoa's coastal region. All of this will create an unforgettable journey full of memories.

In recent years, Sầm Sơn has attracted significant investment from local authorities, and the beach city has undergone a remarkable transformation in both its appearance and tourism service quality. The planning and development of Sầm Sơn as a beach resort has been a major priority for Thanh Hoa province. In 2024, Sầm Sơn was designated as a National Tourism Area in the North Central region and the Central Coast of Viet Nam.
