The Diêm Phố Shrine Historical Relic

Diêm Phố Shrine, located in Ngư Lộc commune, Hậu Lộc district, Thanh Hóa province, is a unique historical and cultural site, closely associated with stories about the fishing and seafood trading traditions of the local coastal inhabitants. The shrine (Nghè) was built to honor the village's tutelary deity and the protective spirits, reflecting the profound folk beliefs of the local people.

From the main gate (tam quan) inward, there is a large road leading to the temple entrance, which divides the site into two parts. There are fishbone-shaped paths leading to the temple, shrine, pagoda, and various other religious buildings, forming a rich system of worship sites, including: Great Saint Temple (the temple honoring the Four Holy Ladies), Liên Hoa Pagoda, the shrine to the God of the Whale (Ngọc Lân God), a memorial shrine to 334 fishermen who perished at sea in 1931, and the temple to Nẹ Sơn (dedicated to King Thông Thủy Nẹ Sơn)...

The architecture of the shrine follows traditional styles, with intricate carvings and a solemn atmosphere.
