This ancient pagoda, established in the late 16th century, sits beside the majestic Hoàng Nghiêu mountain range. It occupies a spacious area and is renowned as a scenic landmark, a place of favorable feng shui, and a witness to significant events in the struggle for national liberation. The pagoda was built in the 16th century by Mạc Đăng Khuê, a person from Bắc Hà, who came to this land, established the village of Thổ Ngõa, and constructed the pagoda. Due to wars and natural disasters, the pagoda suffered significant damage. However, with the attention of the local government and generous contributions from philanthropists, it has been restored and preserved, continuing to serve as a spiritual center for the community. Notably, the pagoda was a secret meeting place for revolutionary leaders before the August Revolution of 1945.
