With its traditional architecture, the Phong Mục Village Communal House stands out due to its large wooden columns, the gracefully curved roof, and intricate carved motifs. Many of the carvings within the communal house depict dragons, phoenixes, and floral patterns, showcasing the artistic skill of ancient craftsmen. The communal house is not only a place for religious activities but also serves as the center for meetings and the organization of significant community events in the village.
Each year, the Phong Mục Communal House hosts two major festivals: the 'Kỳ Yên' festival for peace and safety (15th of the first lunar month) and the procession of the village's ceremonial palanquin to the Mẫu Hàn Sơn Temple (in the 6th lunar month), both of which contribute to the rich spiritual culture of the local people. These festivals are occasions for the community to express gratitude to the deities and those who have contributed to the prosperity of the homeland.

The Phong Mục Village Communal House is a cultural symbol of the Hậu Lộc region, playing a vital role in preserving and promoting the ancient traditions of the Vietnamese people. In 2010, it was recognized as a provincial architectural and artistic heritage site.
