The Main Facade of the Temple

Lương Đắc Bằng, born in 1472, originally named Lương Ngạn Ích, was an upright official who dedicated himself to the welfare of the nation. He became famous not only for his political career but also for being an exemplary teacher, always devoted to imparting knowledge and nurturing the ambitions of his students to serve the country and society. He is remembered in history as a Bảng nhãn (a prestigious title in the imperial court) as well as a teacher who has a profound influence on generations of students. Lương Đắc Bằng’s contributions played a significant role in the glory of Vietnamese education and the imperial examination system.

Lương Hữu Khánh, the son of Lương Đắc Bằng, was a renowned general in the restoration of the Lê dynasty. He not only inherited his father's literary talent but also made significant contributions to the military. As the Minister of the Ministry of War, Lương Hữu Khánh achieved many glorious victories during the "Phù Lê diệt Mạc" (Supporting the Lê to destroy the Mạc) campaign, which helped solidify and expand the nation. His military achievements are recorded in historical texts and the family records, serving as a testament to his brilliance and loyalty to the Lê dynasty.
